The year is coming to an end and we know that you’re gearing up for New Year’s! Big parties, drinks, socializing… the New Year is always a great time of the year to be with your loved ones and reflect on the highs and lows of the year.

The New Year means to also set goals, embrace change and come up with ideas on how to personally grow. Everyone sets a New Year’s Resolution and at Cynergi Health and Fitness Club, we want to encourage you to make the gym a priority in the new year – and here’s why!

1. Boost Your Mental Health

After the stress of the holidays, January is a time to wind down. It’s the time to be mindful and reset. Physical activity can be a great way to release yourself from the pressures of life, like work, family, or your studies. Not only can you recharge at the gym, but your mental health will improve!

2. Learning Consistency

The new year also means starting a new routine! People who start their gym journey and go fast into working out will easily burn out by over-committing. Prioritizing the gym as part of your routine is important, but start with manageable sessions. Consistency matters more than intensity in the beginning.

3. Set Realistic Goals

When you start the gym in January, you have so much energy and think that changes will start to show quickly. Instead, it takes time to see results. And know what you want to work on at the gym, like losing weight or getting toned. Intention is key.

4. Get Strong!

It can easily feel like you’re a couch potato when you’re always at work sitting at your desk, or when you’re in front of your computer constantly to study. So, hitting the gym early in the new year is a good way to not only burn that extra fat but also engage in strength training and cardio workouts! Boost your physical health to not only increase your stamina but also improve your breath. And as you progress, you’ll notice your energy improve and you’ll get stronger!
